In the next 5-10 days, I will be going to a local Nissan dealer, and I will most likely be ordering a 2014 Juke NISMO. 6MT and nav pack optioned at that! I can't decide between white or silver for the color, but i'll figure that out soon enough...

My mom has a friend who is a fleet salesperson for Nissan, and I will be getting a discount of about $2500 through her, putting the juke in my price range! although not my first choice, my mom loves it, and I do like the way it looks, so I have decided to accept my fate :D I can't complain, really... It's a 200hp "hatchback" that looks good, is a 6-speed, and goes 0-60 in under 7 seconds! So, I'm happy about that!

OPPO might be getting it's first NISMO juke owner in the next month or so...

MSRP on the NISMO is about $23.5K +$1,200 for NAV pack

NISMO RS (about 20 more horses + recaros + bigger brakes + even stiffer suspension) is $26.5K

I'm having to order mine. all of the ones in my area are CVT equipped ones with no nav In grey. getting the 6MT/nav means 10-20 week wait time

I'm getting it since it's not that expensive, and I want to have the little conveniences it gives. Plus, the standard Nissan sound systems aren't too good. The upgrade Rockford Fosgate ones kick ass!

Nav'll be useful around cities/on roadtrips.

I also get USB/AUX ports, mandatory for my music!

I really like the Juke, its like, what saves Nissan from being one of the least entertaining car companies out there. I think the Nismo additives make it look even better! Also, I would get the white one as well!

-1967 Impala (if I pulled in a 4.0 GPA for the semester, ranked about 25th in state for tennis, and got a 5 on the AP exam)

Yeah, my mom had no idea what to look at, hence the wide veriety!

I dodged a few bullets though. for example, my mom at first wanted to get me a Used '04 Touareg V8 for "safety reasons" then she realized the insurance costs would bury her! so, I avoided the $1,00 per month upkeep.

An Accord sport with a 6MT does 0-60 in 6.6, pulls about .9g cornering (which I imagine the front wheel drive juke would have a hell of a time matching), and can be a lot of fun to drive while staying hellapractical. The juke is a unique cool choice, but the Accord is worth a test drive, IMO.

The juke can match the accord's 0-60 time to the millisecond, has 4 doors (and since i'll be carpooling people to school, I need that) and can pull .84g cornering. Plus, I get a discount on the juke since a good family friend is a Nissan fleet salesperson. It is worth a test drive, just not for me, sorry

Getting a deal on the Juke definitely helps, but for the record, the do make 4 door Accords as well ;) hell of a lot more comfy than the Juke for those people you are carpooling with as well. The Juke will probably make a unique, fun commuter though. Happy driving.
